CaixaForum Barcelona will expose during two months the tapestry that Joan Looked and the textile artist Josep Royo created for ”the Caixa” in 1980. It will be the first opportunity for the big public in almost 40 years to contemplate this work, one of the seven monumental tapestries that made Looked, and the first time that see also the reverso of the tapestry.
Under the title of The star of Looked, the project proposes that the public can see live the restoration of this emblematic work and know like this his process of creation, the importance of the textile art in the path of Looked and the processes of conservation and restoration of a work of art.

The work, of 200 kilos of weight and 5 x 2 metres, has planted inside a vitrina of glass to the entrance of this space.
La Caixa has trusted Expomon to carry out production of this.
The vitrina has produced with the following elements: steel painted to the oven, inner illumination, system of conservation and glass antireflectante Clearsight 6+6
