Thematic

Some 230 photographies, cameras, diaries and volumes of the monumental newspaper of Jacques Henri Lartigue are shown from this Tuesday in the CaixaForum Barcelona. It is the first big anthology exhibition devoted to this French photographer in Spain. From his early childhood he portrayed all that made him happy and seemed to him beautiful.
Born in 1894 in the breast of an accommodated family of the bourgeoisie, Lartigue is considered today one of the big names of the photography of the 20th century and prompt, from the eight years old and until the age of 92, when he died, converted the camera in one more prolongation of his body.
