Vampires The evolution of the myth

The vampire myth and the cinema have been linked throughout the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in a symbiotic and illusory relationship.
This exhibition is an exceptional opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of vampires and to know the relationships between the different facets of the vampire, from different artistic practices, in a way that snatches the viewer.
The exhibition brings together a selection of the maelstrom of fantasy films that myth has fostered, from avant-garde projects to blockbusters. It relates the tensions between the cinema and this myth, aware of the vampire metamorphoses that are intrinsically linked to the transformations of the cinematographic medium.

The exhibition can be visited until June 7, 2020 at CaixaForum Madrid.
