Thematic

The Museum of Paper Dresses responds to a demand that was almost forced, thus recognizing a habit with strong roots in Mollerussa and a form of art very little known out of the town.
Between the singularities of Mollerussa, perhaps the most known is the Contest of Paper Dresses that is celebrated since 50 years ago. The museum is fruit of the contest, and of all his participants. Thanks to them today we can show more than eighty exposed dresses to all of you.
One of the main aims of the museum is to give a precise idea about this form of creation, design and work. Until a paper dress is not seen,  a person can not be conscious of all the effort,  time and all the illusion that are needed to make it.
