“The Museum of Lloret de mar” it is situated in the ancient Garriga’s House. This building pertains to the 19th century and it is located in the Verdaguer promenade of Lloret de mar. Most of all it is an emblem of a glorious past when people of Lloret left everything to go to make fortune in America. Around 1860, Enrique Garriga i Marato undertook his journey to Cuban soil, specifically in Cienfuegos, where he and his brother created a company of construction materials. Sailed into the history, the journey is divided into five areas: Sons of the sea, Mediterranean,  The doors of the ocean, Lloret after the time of the sailing ships and beyond the beach.  A journey that goes from the coastal navigation organized through the Mediterranean to the great high altitude navigation through the Atlantic.
