Thematic

“Interior Berlanga” proposes a route of discovery by the life of the film-maker, his work and his international projection. It offers a vision of the history of Spain through his films, shows the problems with the censorship and examines appearances so personal as they are his fears. Fear to the death, to the future or to the women, that turn recurrent subjects in his work.

Berlanga created an own universe berlanguiano that combines the unforeseen, the satire, the costumbrismo and the caricature. As it could not be of another way, the staged plays in favour and accompanies this imaginary, until arriving to a so Valencian space as it is a big bonfire where burn symbolically films, subjects and characters.

In the museography production will find the structures to show to the public scenographies of the most emblematic objects of the films and the life of the film-maker, vitrinas museísticas that contain documents conserved by the família as well as graphic and audiovisual supports to do that the visitor submerge in the universe Berlanga.
