The Designation of Origin Tierra Alta has been designated as coordinator of the events of the international contest Grenaches du Monde 2018 (minutes of the competition from April 11 to 15, 2018). This designation represents a unique opportunity to spread the wines of the Garnacha variety of the Terra Alta, and especially its white grenache.

Within the acts until the dates of competition has been created an itinerant exhibition, “The Garnacha, of the matter in the soul”, six stations that explain the process of wine making with Grenache that will transport attendees to knowledge and awareness of the Garnacha, with the intervention of all the senses.
