Thematic

Locomotives, trains and wagons. Definitely one of the main appeals of the Centre of interpretation of the Railway of Mora la Nova are the locomotives. Apart from two of steam (the 141F-2316 and the 241F-2238, two impressive machines that in the years 50 and 60 still dragged trains of long distance for the Iberian Peninsula) there is other classical, like the Renault motor ABJ2, built in 1938, which is a diesel locomotive, also the train Catalonia Express and an electrical machine too. Several wagons of load complete the group, that occupies a big garage.
The ancient “Enclave”, built in 1928, is a glorious building very well restored, that conserves all the aroma of this type of constructions, especially in the upper room, made all of glass allowing to have views of the rail-roads. The building shows the evolution of the rail-road signage systems along the history.
