  • Works performed: Re-locating of the exhibition “Egyptian Mummies” in Palma de Mallorca. It includes the adaptation of show cases, sound and visual systems, electrical installation, lighting, transport of pieces with bridge crane to an upper floor, placement of pieces (mummies, sarcophagi, small sculptures etc…), graphic design of advertising banners, placement of carpet, carpentry and painting.

Thematic

The exhibition “Egyptian Mummies. The secret of the eternal life” explores the complexes ritual related with the death and the life after death in the ancient Egypt, that during centuries have intrigued and fascinated to studious and globetrotters from all over the world. This exceptional exhibition presents the treasures of the Rijks museum Go Oudheden of Leiden (Holland), known all over the world by it’s collections of Egyptology.
The idea to “die to and be born again” demanded to conserve the body of the deceased and, for this reason, along the centuries the ancient Egyptians were perfecting the art of the mummification. This exciting subject analyses and explains by means of pertinent objects of different burial chambers of a distinct periods. The modern technologies have allowed that the scientists and the archaeologists expand their knowledges about the illnesses, the alimentary habits and the conditions of life in the era of the ancient Egypt. That’s why the sample includes images of computerized tomography and radiological plates that the museum has realized to all the included mummies in the exhibition.
