It offers a vision of the history of Spain through his films, shows the problems with the censorship and examines appearances so personal as they are his fears. Fear to the death, to the future or to the women, that turn recurrent subjects in his work. Berlanga created an own universe <em>berlanguiano<\/em> that combines the unforeseen, the satire, the costumbrismo and the caricature.
